Deletion is a thing with Webmentions: when a page gets changed so it returns a HTTP 410 status, which indicates that the page that was there before has been deleted, and you send the Webmention to the page it linked before again, the receiver is supposed to remove their copy. I've not only setup Inoreader to hide channels without unread content, I also removed the counts of unread posts (simply using my adblocker) to reduce the mental pressure. Maybe another option to consider?

When trying to look closer at that fancy food I got a 404 - seems like on your homepage feed the image links should be modified to be relative to the homepage and not the post URL! (from permalink it works)

It seems like something went wrong with the flight code: your post links to AB7393, but for some reason flightaware only tracks it as BER7393. Seems like AB is the IATA code, and BER the ICAO one (Wikipedia).

One reason to have permalinks for comments is that you can reliably send Webmentions from them. Another one might be comment pagination, where you otherwise need JS to find the right page?
